Tax-Free Weekend – Time to Buy Some Tech

This year, Tennessee has approved not one, but two sales tax holidays. The first one will focus on school supplies, so for us, that means you can get all that tech you’ve been holding out on getting. Tennessee Back to School sales tax holiday will start on July 31 and run through August 2. You can shop for computers, TVs, video game consoles, as well as tablets and smartphones that cost $3,000 or less.

This is a great weekend to buy a new laptop, phone, or tablet because tax can make a massive difference in price. A computer can cost an additional $50-300 because of tax, so if you are amongst the patient ones, this weekend is the time for you to shine. Here are a few items we recommend buying for the tax-free weekend.
